Tom Lattanand is a friend and a phenomenal guitar player. This is his second all-acoustic record. It’s amazing, you should check it out. This is the kind of record you want to put on while drinking bourbon and contemplating when to put the next log on the fire.

(It’s also mastered by Mike Wells, who mastered So Die Star, my upcoming release. Mike is a mastermind wizard.)

“Zirkle” by Kooken & Hoomen, my old band. This was recorded at Cafe DuNord in San Francisco in 2002. The Zirkle was an obelisk-like structure on the campus of Grinnell College, where I went to school. I wrote the chord changes in the Fall, and this song always makes me remember that crisp feeling of an Iowa autumn.
